Ok, well I decided to openly ask a producer whose work I’ve looked up to for a long time if he’s be interested in co-producing a concept with me. I live in Winnipeg and want to keep it here, but as he’s living in Vancouver, I’m not sure exactly how he’d like the idea of living through a Winnipeg winter… But fortune favours the brave, and as I know who some other people are I’d like to bring into this project when it reaches television, I know I have to get my brave-face on and do this!!!
I’ve had this account sitting dorment for a while, but I figured I might as well start posting on here, seeing that I’ve a few things that have been going on with me in my life. As I’ve been tweeting about it, and people have been asking for more details, I figured here would be the best place to do it.
I’ve been attending the Academy of Broadcasting since October 2010 in the Acting for Film and Television program. We started shooting our film practicum project, “The Trials of Rasputin” today, but as I’m not needed today, I’m staying at home and prepping for my shoot tomorrow. In my role, I am playing the part of Vladlena Kuzminichna Guseva (yes I admit it took me a couple of weeks to learn how to pronounce that tongue-twister of a name), and I have a fight role that involved my weilding a large butcher knife…. Yes, massive fun as it’s one of my instructors, B. Pat Burns, playing the role of the ill-fated Grigori Rasputin. Looking forward to tomorrow!
And of course, I do love to write…a LOT!!! I have about 3-4 ideas for different original TV shows, and one I’m working with a partner with called “The Colt Girls”. There is another one I’ve got an idea for as well that would be a collaboration, but I’m not going to say anything more than that for fear of jinxing it!
I will leave it at that for now, and put that out into the universe. Hope to be able to edit my blog soon so there’s a photo of my own choosing along the top!
All the best,
